As
a congregation we confess with the Apostle, "All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may
be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" (1 Tim 3:16,17).
Thereforee we believe that the Bible alone is the Word of God, and is
the only rule for
faith and life.
Our
Worship
First
and foremost, our worship is characterized by the centrality of the
Word of God, given to us in the Bible. We seek to worship God in the
very ways He has prescribed in the Scriptures. Therfore in public
worship we sing only the 150 Psalms, " making melody in our hearts to
the Lord" (Eph 5:19).
Preaching
In our
preaching we strive for the plain exposition of the Word with an
emphasis on application to the hearer.

Prayer
Prayer
is an offering up of our desires unto God for things agreeable to His
will, in the name of Christ, with confession of our sins, and thankful
acknowledgment of his mercies. Thereforee prayer is also a vital
component of our public worship, in petition, confession, and
heart-felt thanksgiving to the Triune God, Who alone is to be praised.
The
Bible
In our worship services we use the King James Version (KJV) translation
of the Bible and the Psalter for public praise.
